Career
AppliedAI
Jonathan Trichel is President and General Manager, Americas at AppliedAI. Based in Austin, Texas, he leads the company's business across the region and serves on its Global Leadership Team. He is responsible for helping banks, insurers, health systems, life sciences companies and government agencies move AI agents into governed production on Opus, AppliedAI's flagship platform.
Approach
Over thirty years, Jonathan has taken businesses from inception to nine-figure scale and advised boards and chief executives across commercial and national security sectors. His focus at AppliedAI is the gap between AI pilots and production: getting agents running real operational work inside institutions that cannot give up control, auditability or accountability to do it.
Earlier career
He joined AppliedAI from Accenture, where he was Vice Chair and Senior Managing Director. There he originated agentic AI transformation programs for global enterprises and served as operating lead on Accenture's Texas semiconductor and AI-compute expansion mandate, working with the Governor's office and U.S. Army leadership.
Before Accenture, Jonathan spent twenty years as a Senior Partner at Deloitte, where he built and led several of the firm's largest businesses. He was global lead client service partner for a Fortune 50 company and ran the integration of a $67 billion combination of two Fortune 50 enterprises, the largest technology merger to date. He founded Deloitte's national security data and AI practice serving Army Futures Command, Army Special Operations Command and the Department of Homeland Security, led the U.S. Strategy Practice through the Monitor Group acquisition, and as Chief Innovation Officer helped form Deloitte Digital and created the Deloitte AI Lab at Capital Factory. He was twice elected to Deloitte's governance boards, serving on the Deloitte U.S. Board of Directors and the Deloitte Consulting Board.
Education
He holds an MBA from the University of Dallas and a BA in Political Science from the University of North Texas. He helped establish the Master of Science in Business Analytics program at the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin and serves on the advisory board of the Hunt Institute for Engineering & Humanity at Southern Methodist University.
